Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to plant care services provided by Amanda Cottle (LeafItWithMandy) ("we", "us", "our") to you ("you", "the Client"). By ticking the agreement box on our booking form and/or paying a deposit, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.1. Our Services
We provide in-home plant care, which may include watering, basic maintenance, and general checks on the plants agreed with you, at the property and on the dates confirmed in your booking ("the Services").We will carry out the Services with reasonable care and skill. The Services do not include cleaning, home security, pet care, mail handling, or any task not expressly agreed in writing.2. Bookings and Payment
2.1 A booking is confirmed only once you have (a) agreed to these Terms, and (b) paid the deposit for the amount agreed with you for your booking.
2.2 The remaining balance is due on completion of the Services.
2.3 All prices and the deposit amount will be confirmed to you in writing before your booking is confirmed.3. Cancellations
3.1 If you cancel more than 30 days before the booking start date, your deposit will be refunded.3.2 If you cancel within 7 days of the start date, [the deposit is non-refundable / a charge of X applies].3.3 We may cancel due to illness or circumstances beyond our control. If we do, you will receive a full refund of any amounts paid, and our liability is limited to that refund.4. Access to Your Property
4.1 You are responsible for providing safe and lawful access to the property (keys, codes, or other arrangements) for the agreed dates.4.2 You confirm that you are the owner of the property or are authorised to arrange access to it and its contents.4.3 You will inform us in advance of any alarms, hazards, fragile or valuable items, or other information relevant to us carrying out the Services safely.4.4 We will keep any keys, codes, and access information secure and use them only to provide the Services.5. Condition and Care of Property
5.1 Where practical, we will record the condition of relevant areas at the start and end of each visit (including photographs) to protect both parties.5.2 We take reasonable care while in your home. We are not liable for:(a) pre-existing damage or wear;(b) the decline, illness, or death of any plant, where we have provided care as agreed (plant health depends on many factors outside our control);(c) loss or damage that is not caused by our negligence or breach of these Terms;(d) issues arising from inaccurate or incomplete information you provided.6. Our Liability
6.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
6.2 Subject to clause 6.1, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Services is limited to the total fees paid for the affected booking.
6.3 We hold public liability insurance. Details are available on request.7. Claims
Any claim for loss or damage must be raised with us in writing within 7 days of the end of the booking, with reasonable supporting evidence, so that we can investigate promptly.8. Your Personal Information
8.1 To provide the Services we collect information such as your name, contact details, property address, access details, and the dates you are away.8.2 We store this information securely, use it only to provide the Services, and do not share it with third parties except as required to deliver the Services or by law. Access details are deleted once they are no longer needed.9. General
9.1 These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.9.2 If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.9.3 We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one in effect when you book.
